Business Development

Job overview:

As a Business Development Manager at our software company, you will play an important role in our company's development and achievement. Your primary responsibility will be to find and capitalise on attractive commercial possibilities, form strategic connections, and push the growth of our clientele. You will play an important role in driving significant revenue generation and developing long-term relationships with clients and stakeholders by leveraging your sales skills and broad network.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market research to identify potential clients and industry trends, and develop a deep understanding of customer needs and pain points.
  • Generate leads through various channels, including cold-calling, networking, attending events, and leveraging online platforms.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospects, and effectively manage the sales process from lead generation to deal closure.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in target organizations to understand their business requirements and position Mevrik's DCX platform as the solution of choice.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations, effectively communicating the value proposition of our products to potential clients.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute strategic sales campaigns that drive lead generation and conversion.
  • Negotiate contracts and terms of agreements, ensuring a win-win outcome for both Mevrik and the client.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and market developments to identify new opportunities for business growth.
  • Provide regular sales reports and updates to the management team, outlining progress, challenges, and potential areas for improvement.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, marketing, and customer success, to ensure a seamless customer journey and successful onboarding of clients.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field. (An equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience will also be considered.)
  • Proven track record of success in B2B sales, business development, or account management, preferably in the technology/software industry.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of customer needs and market dynamics.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Self-driven and results-oriented, with a demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, adapting quickly to changing market conditions and business priorities.
  • Knowledge of AI, machine learning, or digital customer experience technology is a plus, but not a mandatory requirement.
  • Experience with CRM software and sales tools is beneficial.
